It has an erratic flight. It is found in Africa, South Asia, South East Asia and parts of Australia. The butterfly has two forms the wet season form and the dry season from. The butterfly in the picture above is the wet season form. It has brown striation and multiple eyespots on the undersurface. The dry season form resembles a dead dry leaf.
